Abhilash Shetty, our talented management director at the moment, has made significant strides in the film industry through his work as a director, screenwriter, and producer. He embarked on his filmmaking journey with short films before achieving international acclaim with his debut feature, "Koli Taal", 2021., (transl. "The Chicken Curry"). This remarkable film garnered rave reviews and received nominations at prestigious international film festivals, ultimately reaching audiences in 71 countries through cinematic and online platforms. Following the success of "Koli Taal," Shetty is set to unveil his next project, "Naale Rajaa Koli Majaa", 2024., (transl. "Sunday Special") which he has written, directed, and produced. This upcoming film had its first international release in Canada on September 7th, promising to continue the excitement surrounding Shetty's creative vision and storytelling prowess.
Mila Knezevic is a screenwriter, painter, and director. She has directed two short films and honed her craft at a prestigious school for directing, screenwriting, and acting in Belgrade, where she acquired unique skills that enhance her artistic vision. Mila's exceptional artwork has garnered her special recognition, notably for her work (poster design) selected for the Imaginings Peace 2021 digital exhibition, celebrating the UN Day of Peace. This esteemed selection was made by Angelina Lippert, the chief curator of Poster House in New York City, showcasing Mila's creative talent and commitment to her art. Her work stands as a testament to the importance of fostering dialogue and understanding in a world often divided. On December 1st, 2024, Mila received an esteemed recognition for her artistic contributions: the Certificate of Artistic Achievement from the prestigious Luxembourg Art Prize, awarded by the Pinacotheque Museum, renowned for celebrating high artistic quality and facilitating participation in the international selection process. Mila's dedication and creativity have not only earned her this accolade but also placed her among a select group of artists acknowledged for their exceptional talent. Her achievement serves as a testament to the impact of art in bridging cultures and fostering appreciation for diverse artistic expressions.
